SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

POS Partners, a leading point-of-sale information technology solution provider for the hospitality and healthcare industries, is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager for our growing division to develop and execute strategic marketing strategies. This role reports directly to the President / Chief Executive Officer and will execute the company’s marketing and merchandising efforts across brands, leads, products, and accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing the concept and creation of all marketing related content which includes, but is not limited to, ad copy, brochures, postcards, business cards, tradeshows, email promotions, digital campaigns, videos, direct mail campaigns, social media platforms and corporate presentations. This virtual position includes spending your time working with different teams executing strategies and initiatives for the marketing division. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop, implement and execute strategic marketing plans for the organization
  • Manage all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department in line with company objectives and goals
  • Advertise campaigns; track sales data, maintain promotional materials inventory and plan meetings
  • Analyze how our brands are positioned in the market and develop targeted consumer insights
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
  • Responsible for the marketing budget and allocation of funds
  • Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals

  • Organize promotional events at trade shows and other venues, coordinate with staff to ensure prompt delivery of materials and merchandise
  • Identify weaknesses in existing marketing campaigns and develop pragmatic solutions within budgetary constraints
  • Communicate with senior management about marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as to brainstorm fresh strategies
  • Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies
  • Create product marketing plans and timelines leveraging available media with creativity and expression
  • Manage product merchandising, listing creation and maintenance, and selling account platform campaigns
  • Conceptualize / write press releases, ads, emails promotions, catalogs, product descriptions, etc.
  • Assist in the development and management of various marketing programs
  • Provide assistance to the salesforce to ensure they are appropriately supported/leveraged as part of the marketing plan to drive revenue growth and brand awareness
  • Align the marketing objectives with the company’s business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, team strategy development, sales forecasting and company resource planning
  • Cooperative and willing to assist with all special projects and other duties as assigned

OUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field
  • 5 – 10 years in marketing and promotion experience in a B2B environment (i.e. – ads, brochures, email marketing, social media platforms and web promotions)
  • Demonstrated experience translating value propositions into creative and impactful sales materials, including brochures, web copy, presentations and sales primers
  • Excellent decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with online content marketing and social media development strategies
  • Analyze how our brands are positioned in the market and develop targeted consumer insights
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
  • Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies
  • Create product marketing plans and timelines leveraging available media (digital, print, conferences / exhibits, etc.)
  • Experience in professional services or B2B technology marketing (product or solution marketing) preferred;
  • Manage product merchandising (photography, copywriting), listing creation and maintenance, and selling account platform campaigns
  • Flexibility to support a variety of projects independently as well as part of a team to accomplish common goals
  • Skilled at organizing work tasks, meeting deadlines and producing accurate and complete work products
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
